VIP Darshan At Maa Vidhyavasini Temple Stopped, Those Not Wearing Masks To Be Fined
Mirzapur, January 4 (TNA) VIP darshan and touching of the idol goddess at the famous Maa Vindhyavasini temple has been stopped with immediate effect, an official informed on Tuesday. In view of the stampede incident in Vaishno Devi shrine recently and the rise in Covid-19, Omicron cases the decision has been taken, it was informed.
This decision was taken on Monday evening at a meeting of Vindhya Panda Samaj and administrative officers in the administrative building of the temple. Municipal Magistrate Vinay Kumar Singh said that every person coming to the temple would be required to wear a mask.
No person will be allowed entry without a mask. If caught without a mask for the first time, a fine of five hundred rupees, for the second time one thousand and for the third time 10 thousand rupees will be fined.
To avoid crowding in the temple, ‘Charan Sparsh’ will also not be allowed from 5 am till further orders. If the crowd increases, the visitors will be stopped under the temple itself. Local people have been asked to avoid visiting the temple from 7 am to 3 pm.
