Veteran Journalist ‘Dada’ PK Roy Passes Away

Lucknow, April 16 (TNA) The media world lost one of its leading lights on Saturday as veteran journalist PK Roy, fondly known as ‘Dada’ by his peers, juniors and friends, passed away. He breath his last at a Mumbai hospital. He had gone to Mumbai to be with his son as he had not been keeping too well for sometime.

Dada was a strong pillar of the National Union of Journalists (India) and he will be remembered for setting a high bar of journalistic values, his colleagues said. He was also the President of NUJ and UPJA. The UP Journalists Association condoled the demise of Rai and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
