Uttar Pradesh Sets Up Rs 150 Crore Corpus Fund For Start-Ups

The state government, an official has also released a sum of Rs 41 lakh on the start up incubator proposal.

LUCKNOW || With many start ups bleeding through their nose due to the COVID pandemic, lockdown and the economic slowdown, the Uttar Pradesh government has set up a Start Up Fund to give a financial impetus to them, an official said on Friday.

The state government, at the instructions of the chief minister Yogi Adityanath has created a corpus fund of Rs 150 crore for start ups in the state.

Country's front ranking Venture Funds and IAF have shown interest in the fund and a meeting go the SIDBI and the start up nodal institution will soon conduct a meeting go the venture capitalist investment committee. The state government, an official informed The News Agency, has also released a sum of Rs 41 lakh on the start up incubator proposal.
