UPMRC Organises Skit, Dance Competition

Lucknow, August 16 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) organised various cultural activities as a part of ‘Swantantrata Saptaah’ beginning from 11th-17th August, 2022. A special skit and dance competition was organised at Hazratganj metro station for the school students depicting the theme of ‘Azadi/Independence’ on Tuesday.

UPMRC is conducting all these cultural activities and events on the occasion of celebrationg 75 glorious years of independence under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of the government. Sushil Kumar, MD, UPMRC also feliciated the winners of competitions conducted during the ‘Swantantrata Saptaah’ from 11th-17th August, 2022 like quiz, musical chair, selfie contest drawing competition, etc.

In the quiz competition conducted for metro employees on 11th August, 2022, Saurabh Tiwari (JE/electrical), Ankit Saxena (JE/Electrical), Ritika Saxena (SE/S&T), Rahul Sharma (Account Asst.) & Shyam Saran Patel (AM/S&T) were declared winners.

In the musical chair competition conducted for houskeeping staff on 12th August, 2022, Pooja, Rohit Kumar & Mukesh Jaiswal were adjudged winners. UPMRC had also organised a ‘Swachta Pakhwda’ from 15-30th June, 2022 in which a slogan writing contest was conducted.
