UPMRC Conducts 10th Annual General Meeting

Lucknow, Oct 1 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) on Saturday hosted its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM), conducted via video conferencing at the Administrative Building in Lucknow. The meeting, chaired by Manoj Joshi, Chairman, UPMRC, and Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, took place through video conferencing.

Joshi and Nitin Ramesh Gokharan Additional Chief secretary Government of Uttar Pradesh participated from New Delhi. Agenda of the AGM include receiving, considering and adopting the audited financial statements of the company for the year ending on 31st March, 2023, the reports of the Directors and Statutory Auditors together with the Comments of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India under Section 143 (6) of the Companies Act, 2013

Another agenda point was to authorise Board of Directors to fix the remuneration of Statutory Auditor(s) of the Company for the FY 2023-24 and if thought fit. The audited financial statements of the company for the year ending on 31st march 2023 were received, considered and adopted.

At the meeting as per provision of Section 142 of the Companies Act, 2013 consent of member be and it was accorded that Board of Directors of the Company are authorised to fix audit fee of Statutory Auditor(s) of the Company as per Section 177 of the Companies Act, 2013 for conducting statuary audit of the Company for FY 2023-24”.

Besides this, the Director Finance of UPMRC, Sheel Kumar Mittal apprised the board about the financial status of the company. Sushil Kumar, Managing Director, UPMRC proposed a vote of thanks to the chairman and all the other members who joined the meeting physically and through video conferencing.
