UP STF Arrests Two For Running Fake Telecom Exchange

Lucknow, August 14 (TNA) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday bust a gang running a fake telecom exchange. Two members of the gang which transferred calls from abroad to an Indian number through their exchange and fraudulently talked on a local call, causing loss of revenue to the Government of India, have also been arrested.

These two criminals were arrested by STF from Gorakhpur. They have been identified as Asif Khan of Deoria and Arbaaz Khan of Gorakhpur. The STF team has also recovered Rs 2100 cash, one SIM card, 69 net centers, 24 SIM cards, 2 laptops, 3 router ATM cards, 2 mobiles, 1 toolkit, 2 PAN cards, 4 fake Aadhaar cards, 2 fraudulent voter ID cards also for them.
