UP Police Covid Hospital Inaugurated In Kanpur, Other Districts To Have Similar Ones Soon

Kanpur, August 8 (TNA) Director General Mukul Goyal of Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday inaugurated the Covid Care Hospital at Kanpur Police Line. He described the launch of Covid Care Hospital as a commendable initiative.

On the other hand, during the inauguration of the hospital, he said that taking inspiration from Covid Hospital in Kanpur, now such hospitals will be built in the police line of every district of the state.

At the same time, Mukul Goyal also remembered the policemen who lost their lives during the pandemic. He described the Covid Care Hospital, built in collaboration with the public and the administration, as a good example.

Goyal also described the first and second wave of Corona as a challenging time and said that it strained the medical infrastructure of the country like never before. He said that doctors and policemen working on the front line have made many sacrifices in this difficult time.

The DGP said that if a possible third wave of Corona comes, this hospital will be a great support for the policemen and their families. The DGP said that the hospital is planned to be enlarged so that the policemen do not have to go to private hospitals in future.

In the inaugural program, Commissioner of Police Asim Arun said that Sanjay Kumar of Muthoot Group has made the main contribution in the establishment of this hospital.
