UP Government Allows Reopening Of Coaching Institutes

Lucknow, August 11 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday permitted Coaching Institutes across the state to reopen as the Covid cases continued to show a steady decline. Following instructions of chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the state home department issues guidelines for reopening the coaching centres.

In a note issued to all the divisional commissioner, district magistrates and concerned officials, additional chief secretary (Home) Avanish Kumar Awasthi has said that all coaching centres falling outside containment zones can now open with immediate effect.

It was also said that the coaching will be allowed to operate on all days but the weekly closure days. Officials have been asked to ensure that a Covid Help Desk is established at the entry gate of coaching centres and that covid protocol - wearing of masks, maintaining a safe distance and use of sanitisers continue to be mandatory.

Other than officials, Badal Chopra, president of the UP Coaching Federation has also been apprised of the decision of the state government.
