UP Foresters And Wildlife SOS Reunite Leopard Cub With Mother Cub In Agra
Agra, August 26 (TNA) In a joint effort, the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department and Wildlife SOS successfully reunited a one-month-old male leopard cub with his mother in the Bah range of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. After being kept under veterinary care at the Wildlife SOS transit facility, the cub was reunited with his mother late in the evening of 23 August 2025.
The forest department, earlier this week, found a male leopard cub alone in the Bah forest range in Agra. An attempt to reunite the cub with his mother was immediately made, but it proved unsuccessful. To safeguard the cub, the forest department team brought him to the Wildlife SOS transit facility early morning on 23 August.
At the facility, veterinarians provided the cub with intensive care and nourishment. Later that evening, under the supervision of the forest department and Wildlife SOS, another reunion attempt was carried out in the Bah range.
The cub was carefully kept in a secure box near the area where he was initially found. To the relief and joy of all involved, the mother leopard arrived and reunited with her cub. The pair safely retreated into the bushes, marking a successful reunion.
