UP ATS Arrests Three In Saharanpur For Human Trafficking, Had Received Rs 20 Crore For Settling Bangladeshi’s In India

Saharanpur, October 13 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh ATS has busted a gang in Saharanpur which used to settle Bangladeshi's in various parts of India, an official said on Friday. Three persons have also been arrested and it has been revealed that they received a funding of Rs 20 crores to further the mission.

Three mobile phones have been recovered from the accused. Along with this, two SIMs from Bangladesh have also been found. The accused told ATS that they do human trafficking from Bangladesh.

Deoband and Varanasi ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) team made these arrests from Deoband. A case has been registered against all three in Lucknow. According to ATS, they received information that some Bangladeshis are engaged in human trafficking in the state, who are bringing Bangladeshis to India and also preparing fake documents for them. After this, Varanasi and Deoband ATS on Wednesday arrested Adil Mohammad Asrafi resident of Mirpur Bangladesh from Varanasi.

The accused told ATS that he is originally a resident of Bangladesh, but he is a resident of Najibul Shaikh, resident of Madina Colony, Deoband, Halder Pada, Guranbose, Bharatgarh police station, Basanti district, South 24 West Bengal and Abu Huraira Ghazi, resident of Kalutla, Rameshwarpur police station, Hasnabad, West Bengal. Has come to India with help of someone.

The accused have also prepared their fake Aadhaar, PAN card and other documents. After this, ATS had arrested Deoband Najibul Shaikh and Abu Huraira on Wednesday. Two foreign SIMs and three mobile phones recovered

ATS has arrested many suspects in the last six months in the district. At the same time, complete vigilance is being maintained by the police also. An operation is underway to nab the suspects, the report of which has been sent to the Home Ministry.
