Two-Seater Plane Crashes In UP's Azamgarh, 24-Year-old Pilot Killed

AZAMGARH || A two-seater aircraft which was on a training sortie crashed in Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday afternoon, police said. The mishap took place in the Kushaha, Fairdunpur area of the district. One person was killed in the incident.

Eye witness accounts told the police that the plane shook in the air and seems to have lost balance due to inclement weather.

The airplane took off from the Indira Gandhi National Flight Academy in Amethi on a "regular training flight", an official told The News Agency. A pilot was aboard the aircraft. After the bad weather, it fell uncontrollably and turned into rubble. DIG Subhash Dubey told media persons that the aircraft in Azamgarh had flown from Fursatganj in Amethi, which was to be fly till Mau.

The aircraft was flown by 24-year-old pilot Kornak Saran, who has been killed in the accident. It is believed that the accident occurred due to uncontrolled aircraft due to bad weather.
