Two Killed In Road Mishap In Firozabad As Speeding Bikes Ram Head-on

Firozabad, April 16 (TNA) A tragic accident occurred on Thursday morning in the city when two persons, including a woman were killed and three others sustained injuries in the mishap. The injured are currently undergoing treatment.

Both motorcycles were traveling at high speed at the time of the accident. Chaos ensued following the crash, which took place around 10:00 AM on Thursday near the Nagla Kheda bridge in the Eka police station area, an official informed.

The accident claimed the lives of 40-year-old Shashi (a resident of Ujirpur, Eka) and 18-year-old Sandeep (a resident of Urisar, Eka) at the scene. Shashi's husband, Arvind, along with Sandeep's brothers-Rajiv and Sunny-who were riding on the second motorcycle, sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The couple on one motorcycle was traveling home from Delhi, while the three youths on the other motorcycle were on their way from home to the fields to deliver food to their family members. None of these youths were wearing helmets. The injured are currently receiving treatment at a government trauma center.
