Two Killed As Car Runs Over Bike On Ayodhya Road In Lucknow

Lucknow, April 27 (TNA) Late Saturday night in Lucknow, on Ayodhya Road, a speeding car rear-ended a motorcycle carrying a pair of brothers-in-law. Both men died in the accident. Following the collision, the car driver fled the scene.

The police are currently searching for the accused driver with the aid of CCTV footage. Shravan Kumar (38), a resident of the City Kotwali area in Barabanki, had come to Lucknow with his brother-in-law, Rajesh Kumar (33), for some work.

Around 12:30 AM on Saturday night, the two were returning to Barabanki on their motorcycle. Near Anoura Kala village on Ayodhya Road, within the jurisdiction of the BBD police station, an unidentified car approaching from behind at high speed slammed violently into their bike.

The impact was so severe that both men were thrown onto the road, sustaining critical injuries.
