Two Kids Drown In Lucknow In Rain Water Filled Roadside Ditch

Lucknow, Sep 16 (TNA) On a day the city saw the skies open up like never before in recent times, many parts of the state capital were marooned as knee-deep water entered colonies and at some places even houses.

Tragedy struck in one such area - Madiaon when unaware of the deep water, two kids were sucked in a hole.

Police said both the kids, aged 10 and 11 had stepped out of their homes during the heavy rains that lashed the city since last night.

When they did not return till late the family raised alarm and began a frantic search. Bodies of both the kids were found in the Mohibillapur locality.
