Two General Coaches Of Patalkot Express Gutted In Blaze In Agra

Agra, October 25 (TNA) A massive fire broke out in the Patalkot Express near Agra on Wednesday afternoon in which two coaches were completely gutted. However no loss of life has been reported as the passengers jumped out of the train as they noticed the blaze and an alarm was raised. Two passengers are said to have sustained burn injuries though. : 2 coaches burnt, passengers saved their lives by jumping, news of two passengers getting burnt.

The incident took place outside the Bhandai Railway Station, eight kilometres from the busty Cantt railway station. Two general bogies of Patalkot Express coming from Mathura towards Jhansi caught fire after a loud explosion near Bhandai railway station, setting panic and stampede among the people traveling in the coach.

After stopping the train, all the passengers were deboarded safely. Railway officials reached the spot. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Train movement has been stopped due to fire in two bogies of the train.
