Two Electrocuted In Kasganj While Taking Down Government Hoardings

Lucknow, January 9 (TNA) While taking down government hoardings in Kasganj, as mandated by the Election commission of India after the model code of conduct came into effect, two youths got electrocuted.

Of the duo, one youth died while the other youth is reportedly in serious condition and is being treated at the district hospital, while the body of the deceased youth has been sent for post-mortem.

The mishap happened at the collectorate premises of Kotwali Soron area, where both of them were taking down the hoardings of government schemes installed in the collectorate premises after the code of conduct was imposed. Both the youth were from Sitapur.
