Two Dreaded Maoists Arrested By Sonbhadra Police On UP-Bihar Border

Sonbhadra, Sep 19 (TNA) Two notorious Naxalites wanted in many police stations of UP-Bihar have been arrested by the Sonebhadra Police and many revealations during their interrogation are likely to come up, an official said on Tuesday. Both are members of Naxalite organization People's War and were absconding for a long time.

Circle Officer Charu Dwivedi of Obra police station said that the court had issued confiscation order against both the Naxalites. On tip off of an informer, the police raided and arrested Naxalite Chhotalal (46), son of Jamuna, resident of village Banki police station Manchi.

While Naxalite Aditya (35), son of Damon, resident of Tilokhar police station, Chiutia district, Rohtas, was arrested from Bihar. Both were absconding for a long time.

Dwivedi further informed that cases are registered against both the Naxalites in various police stations of UP-Bihar on charges of serious crimes including murder. Both Naxalite are active members of the People's War Organization whose head is Kameshwar.
