Triple Murder Rocks Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, April 26 (TNA) Three persons were murdered late night in Gorakhpur in the Khorabar police station area. Throats of the all the three were slit by a sharp-edged weapon. The killings come after similar twin incidents in Prayagraj in the past fortnight where five persons each were murdered in two similar incidents.

Senior police officials including the ADG Akhil Kumar and SSP Vipin Tada rushed to the crime scene and are leading the probe. The murders were committed in the Raiganj area. Police say that Raiganj resident Gama Nishad (42), his 38-year-old wife Sanju Devi and 20-year-old daughter Preeti were killed by slitting their throats.
