Tragic Triple Murder-Suicide Shocks Maharajganj As SSB Jawan’s Husband Kills Two Sons, Ends Life
Maharajganj, March 8 (TNA) In a spine-chilling incident, the husband of an SSB woman jawan allegedly murdered their two young sons before hanging himself in their rented home in Nautanwa police station’s Gandhi Nagar ward, leaving the community reeling in horror.
Neighbours alerted the SSB jawan on Sunday morning after hearing suspicious noises from the first-floor residence. Upon returning from duty, she pounded on the locked door for ages with no response. Desperate, she called the police, who helped break it open to reveal a horrifying scene: the couple’s children, a 4-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son, hung from a window grill with ropes, while the father’s body dangled from the ceiling hook (kundi).
A chilling suicide note scrawled on the wall named the wife and her alleged lover “Sonu Gautam” as responsible: “Our deaths are due to my wife and her lover Sonu Gautam. Even while living with me, she talks to Sonu and taunts, ‘You can’t do anything to me.’”
Nautanwa SHO Purushottam Rao, CO Ankur Kumar Gautam, and SSB officials rushed to the site. The bodies were sent for postmortem as forensic teams collected evidence. The family, originally from Ghazipur’s Saitpur, rented the flat while the jawan served with the 66th Battalion at Domuhan Ghat.
