Tired Of Domestic Discord A Young Woman Jumps Into Gomti River, Saved By Divers

Lucknow, Oct 13 (TNA) Irked over some issue with her family, a young woman on Wednesday jumped into the river Gomti in the state capital, police said. However as she was spotted by some passersby taking the leap, they raised an alarm and divers nearby saved her in time.

Hearing the noise, the divers present under the bridge pulled the girl out of the river after hard work. The police reached the information, sent the girl to the civil hospital and informed the family members of the girl. The incident happened at around 11 am. A huge crowd of people gathered on the river front during the incident.

According to the police, the girl belongs to the secretariat colony of Tedhi Pulia. The family members of the girl were also informed about the incident. Doctors discharged the girl after some time and she went home with the family members.
