Three, Including A Couple Killed In Road Mishap In Saharanpur

Saharanpur, Sep 29 (TNA) On Wednesday morning, an uncontrolled Brezza car collided with a roadside culvert on Deoband-Saharanpur State Highway in Nagal area, killing three, police said.

According to information, 65-year-old Ashok Saluja, a resident of Railway Road Saharanpur, was returning from his brother-in-law's death anniversary in Faridabad in a Brezza car along with his wife Chandra Saluja.

He was accompanied by his younger brother-in-law Madanlal Narula (64) and his 63-year-old wife Pinky Narula, resident of Kasba Khatauli district, Muzaffarnagar.

The car was being driven by his son Amit Saluja. At around 5:15 am on Wednesday, when his car reached near Sadharan Sir Square on Deoband Nagal Highway, the uncontrolled car rammed into the roadside culvert.

Ashok Saluja, his wife Chandra Saluja and Madanlal Narula died on the spot. Amit Saluja and Pinky Narula were seriously injured and are in serious condition at the district hospital. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
