Three Farmers Killed, Five Injured In Road Mishap In Kanpur

Kanpur, April 13 (TNA) Three farmers were killed and five critically wounded in Kanpur rural late on Tuesday when a speeding picup and a contained rammed into each other, police said. There were eight farmers in one of the ill-fated vehicle. The injured have been admitted to the Hallet hospital.

The mishap took place on the Kumbhi national highway, falling under the Akbarpur police station jurisdiction. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled the loss of lives in the road mishap and has asked the district authorities to ensure that the injured are given prompt and adequate treatment.
