The Last Surviving Member Of 4, Church Lane Ashoka Didi Passes Away At SGPGI

Lucknow, Oct 18 (TNA) Ashoka Didi, the last surviving member of 4, Church Lane, Allahabad, the "permanent address" of Neeb Karoli Baba, passed away at 5:11 am on Monday at the SGPGI emergency in Lucknow, her relatives said.

The 92-year-old was the sister-in-law of Dada Mukherjee, the closest aide of Maharaj ji and lived in the house at Church Lane, which in Baba’s own words, was his permanent abode. Ashoka Di was perfectly healthy for her age but had a few vomits on Saturday, Satya Pandey who attended her informed TNA.

She was then rushed to a nearby medical facility where she was admitted but it looked nothing serious. However her condition worsened on Sunday and she was referred to SGPGI, Lucknow.

She passed away peacefully at the premeire medical facility on Monday morning, plunging the Neeb Karoli Baba familyn into shock and sadness.

Didi was kind, compassionate and gentle, TNA prays for eternal peace to the kind soul.
