Thai Girl Case: Application Filed In CJM Court Seeking An FIR In Her Suspicious Death

Lucknow, May 13 (TNA) Activist Nutan Thakur on Thursday filed an application before the CJM Court Lucknow under section 156(3) CrPC for registration of an FIR in the suspicious death of the Thailand woman.

She has said in her application that she had presented an application to the Vibhuti Khand police followed by an application to Police Commissioner under section 154(3) CrPC, seeking an FIR.

The complaint constitutes cognizable offence under section 5 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956 read with section 109, 120B, 177, 201, 203, 465 and 466 IPC, but so far no FIR has been registered.

Nutan said so many extremely suspicious facts have already emerged in the case while there are lot of contradictions in various official statements and documents. Still the Lucknow Police is giving clean chit to the accused through extremely hurried enquiry, while it should have registered FIR and investigated the matter deeply.
