Thai Envoy Offers Prayers At Sarnath For Early End To Corona

Varanasi, Nov 8 (TNA) Thailand's ambassador to India has prayed for an early end to the Corona pandemic by offering prayers at Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh.

The Thai envoy Pattarat Hongtong arrived at a Thai Buddhist temple in Sarnath with a 19-member team on Sunday and lit a lamp in front of the statue of Lord Buddha.

The monk Mangliks, in charge of the Thai temple, performed the puja. The in-charge of the temple presented the statue of Lord Buddha to the ambassador.
