Ten UP Prison Staffers Selected On Fake Documents Sacked, Salaries To Be Recovered

Lucknow, June 13 (TNA) Ten staffers working in Uttar Pradesh prison department have been found to have been recurited on fake degrees, They have been working for the government for the last fifteen years.

They have now been sacked and recovery will also be done and the officers who recruited will also be punished, an official informed.

The recruitment was done in the year 2007 with fake certificates, but now the salary and allowances taken during the service period will be recovered from the very first day of the job assuming the service to be zero.

Taking major action, the government has dismissed 10 prison guards who got jobs in the prison department 15 years ago with the help of fake certificates with immediate effect. From the very first day of service, the salary and allowances taken during the service will be recovered assuming their services to be zero.

Ashish Tiwari, Senior Jail Superintendent of District Jail said that after the vigilance report, these jail workers posted in various jails of Lucknow division have been dismissed with immediate effect on the instructions of the government. A recovery order has been issued from him.

They were recruited by a committee constituted under Ambareesh Gaur, the then senior jail superintendent of the Central Jail, Agra. When questions arose on the recruitment, the government had got it investigated by Vigilance. The Vigilance team has recommended action against them in the investigation report sent to the government.

The prison staff dismissed include Sanyog Lata, Praveen Kumar, Parikrama Deen, Dinesh Kumar, Anil Yadav, Rajkishore, Anand Prakash, Dan Singh, Sanjay Kumar and Shiv Bahadur.
