Ten IPS Officials Transferred In Uttar Pradesh, J Ravindra Gaur Is The New Gorakhpur DIG

Lucknow, August 3 (TNA) Ten Indian Police Service (IPS) officials have been transferred, an official of the home department informed on Tuesday. The rejig involves many DIG's as well.

As per the list provided by the state government, Anand Prakash Tiwari has been named the new additional police commissioner of Kanpur, Chandra Prakash (II) is the new DIG of UPSSF, Upendra Agarwal has been made the new DIG at the Police headquarters in Lucknow.

Dharmendra Singh is the new DIG, Railways in Lucknow while J Ravindra Gaur is the new DIG of Gorakhpur, an important post as it is the home of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Dr Pritender Singh has been named the new DIG of the Saharanpur range while RK Bharadwaj is the new DIG of the Mirzapur range.

Subhash Chandra Dubey, who was till now DIG Azamgarh has been shifted out as additional commissioner Varanasi commissionerate. Akhilesh Kumar has replaced him. Vikas Kumar has been made the new SP of Agra City.
