Superintendent Engineer of Electricity Department In Meerut Arrested Taking Rs Two Lakh Bribe

Meerut, October 28 (TNA) A team of Meerut Vigilance on Thursday arrested the Superintendent Engineer of Paschimchal Electricity Distribution Division I, Devendra Pachoria posted in, red-handed in his office while taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.

In the rapid rail construction work, this bribe was sought from the company which took the contract to shift the power line. A complaint was made to the Vigilance team in this regard.

After this a team was formed to nab the accused. The bribe amount was also recovered from their possession, on which chemical was already applied. The accused Devendra Pachoria has been taken into custody and brought to the Civil Lines police station.

A case has been registered against them at the Civil Lines police station by the Vigilance Officer.
