Suicide Bid By UP Police Constable In Fatehpur After Transfer Request Not Heeded To

Fatehpur, Nov 10 (TNA) A constable of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday consumed poison in Fatehpur as he had been sent to lines over some mistake. He was also miffed with his superiors for not paying heed to his application for a transfer to Mahoba.

The constable is in serious condition and was initially admitted to a medical facility but was sent to Kanpur’s Hallet hospital after his condition worsened. He was sent to lines after some problem during a VVIP duty.

The constable Ajay Kumar Gaur (26), is a resident of Chola police station area of ​​Varanasi and a 2016 batch constable.
