Step Up Vigil In Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur About COVID-19: Yogi Adityanath

LUCKNOW || For effective control of Covid-19 infection, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed officials to ramp up contact tracing and be more vigilant in Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Meerut.

There should also be regular communication with the CMO and the district administration besides taking effective action, he further added. The CM was presiding over a high-level unlock review meeting at his official residence. He said that Covid-19 infection rate has come down notably in the state and it is a good sign.

Yogi said that people should be made more aware regarding Covid19 and awareness should be spread through radio, television, newspapers and other mediums of communication. He said that Information regarding Covid-19 and traffic security should be imparted through Public Address Systems.

The CM also directed to maintain social distancing and follow all the Covid-19 protocols at public places. The urban and rural development department should carry out a special cleanliness and sanitisation campaign and ensure that anti-larva chemicals and lime should also be sprayed.
