Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah Masjid Dispute: Allahabad HC Asks Respondents To File Affidavits By April 7

Prayagraj, April 4 (TNA) With the respondents in the Mathura's Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah Masjid dispute case failing yet again to submit the affidavits before the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday, the court has now fixed April 7 as the last day for the process.

Hearing on petition demanding transfer of pending cases to Allahabad High Court was again deferred on Tuesday as the defendants in the case did not file their reply in the court today. A petition has been filed on behalf of Lord Shri Krishna Virajman and 7 others to transfer pending cases in the Mathura court to the High Court.

The court has given the respondent parties (UP Sunni Central Waqf Board, Committee of Management Trust, Shahi Masjid, Mathura, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust, and Shri Krishna Janmasthana Seva Sansthan) the last chance till April 7 to file their reply through e-mode. The next hearing in the case will be on April 11.

The transfer petition, filed through Advocates Vishnu Shankar Jain, Prabhash Pandey and Pradeep Kumar Sharma, on behalf of Lord Shri Krishna Virajman and 7 others, states that the issues involved in the matter pertain to crores of devotees of Lord Krishna and the matter is of national importance.

It has been prayed in the petition that all the cases be transferred for trial in a single court. A single bench of Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra-I is hearing the case.
