Special Railway Sleeping Pods To Be Thrown Open For Public Soon In Prayagraj

Prayagraj, June 11 (TNA) North India's first sleeping pod will be launched before June 15. A sleeping pod has been prepared on the Civil Lines side of Prayagraj Junction. Now only a little bit of finishing work is left here. The same firm that makes the sleeping pods at the junction is also making them at Kanpur Central. After Prayagraj Junction, the second sleeping pod will be launched in Kanpur.

As of now, 72 sleeping pods have been prepared at Prayagraj Junction. The launch of this is here. However, 140 sleeping pods are to be ready here till Mahakumbh. Four categories of sleeping pods are designed here.

Four categories of sleeping pods are designed here. It has 48 orange-colored sleeping pods for single passengers. Four family sleeping pods are made in yellow colour. Attached toilets are also provided in the family sleeping pods.

Also, 10 pink-colored sleeping pods have been prepared for women. At the same time, 10 sleeping pods have been made for couples in green colour. The general public will be able to take advantage of these sleeping pods under the Triple P model in the next few days. Passengers will be able to make bookings from two hours to 48 hours in the sleeping pod. Its rent will be fixed soon.

Those staying in the sleeping pods on the Civil Lines side of Prayagraj Junction will have the facility of staying inside air-conditioned cabins. There will be free WiFi, mobile and laptop charging facilities. Amriteshwar Singh and Yogendra Pandey, who built the sleeping pod, said that along with staying here, there are also preparations to provide food and drink facilities to the people. Single and double pods will have common washrooms for those staying. Lockers will also be provided to keep the luggage of the passengers.
