Son Of Prominent Businessman Dies In Ayodhya Car Crash, Eldest Son Critically Injured

Ayodhya, August 30 (TNA) Son of a prominent Lucknow businessman was killed in a car crash in Ayodhya on Monday. According to the police, the elder brother of the deceased was also in the car and he has also sustained serious injuries and is being treated at Apollo hospital in the state capital.

The deceased has been identified as Kanishk Uppal, the younger son of Sarveshwar Uppal, owner of the welfare agency located in Naka. His eldest son Akash Uppal has suffered serious injuries in this accident.

The incident happened in the wee hours when the brother duo was returning from a business meeting at a hotel on the Ayodhya-Basti border. Their luxury car rammed into a truck from the rear at the Ranopali highway passing through the temple town. The car was completely damaged due to the impact of the accident. The air bags also burst due to the impact.

Scores of local traders and businessmen converged at the residence of Uppal to extend their sympathies and condolences in this hour of grief.

After getting information about the accident, a large number of businessmen and public representatives also reached his residence in Naka and expressed grief. Kanishk was unmarried, while his injured elder brother is married.

Kanishk was cremated after the post-mortem. Ranopali outpost in-charge Rajnish Pandey says that after getting information about the accident, he reached the scene of the accident and took the injured to a local hospital where Kanishk was pronounced dead.
