Soft Skill Training Session For New Recruits Begins At UP Metro Rail

Lucknow, July 19 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. in association with ASCENT, Amity University, began a ten-day soft skill and business communication training session for its new recruits.

The training was inaugurated by Managing Director, UPMRC Kumar Keshav in the presence of HOD, ASCENT and senior officials of UPMRC. The inaugural session which was moderated by DGM Operations Prashant Dubey, followed by an opening address by Nalina Singh, HOD, ASCENT and key note address by Keshav.

Addressing the new recruits, Nalina Singh said, “In my 25 years of being associated with large organizations, I have never seen an organization as UPMRC that invests so much and is so dedicated to the training for soft and business communication skills of its employees.”

Within an organization, the team’s victory is your victory and not an individual achievement. Always remember, it’s important to develop a Growth mindset; a growth that you aim for, that fills you with positivity, that gives you a purpose to move forward.

The keynote address by Managing Director Shri Kumar Keshav said "once you enter into an organization, there is no such thing as individual growth alone. It’s a team play and that’s what these behavioral and soft skills teach you."

He added, "within an organization, the team’s victory is your victory and not an individual achievement. Always remember, it’s important to develop a Growth mindset; a growth that you aim for, that fills you with positivity, that gives you a purpose to move forward.”

The 10 day training will cover issues like personality development, professional communication, soft skills, behavioral conduct, dealing with internal and external public. UPMRC regularly organizes such value addition programs for all its employees for their overall growth and development as an individual.
