Six-Year-Old Dies After Guard Dog Of A Farm House In Kanpur Attacks Him, Father Lodges FIR
Kanpur, August 9 (TNA) A kid was killed in Maharajpur of Kanpur city after a dog attacked and bit him, police said on Monday. The innocent was attacked by a ferocious guard dog after which he was rushed to a private nursing home but he could not be saved.
The parents of the deceased have lodged an FIR against the owner and caretaker of the farm house after which a case has been registered against them under sections 289 and 304A of the IPC. On the other hand, the body of the innocent is being sent for postmortem and interrogation is being done.
Jeetu Nishad, a resident of Maharajpur Karankheda and father of the six-year-old Ansh, said that Sanjay, a resident of Chandanpur, has a farm house on Dodhighat Road. Sanjay keeps a dog in the farm house. Ramkumar Yadav, who is the caretaker of the farm house. People around the farmhouse were terrified of the dog as every now and then he attacks people.
Despite being told, Sanjay and Ramkumar leave the dog in the open. Jeetu alleged that the dog broke into his house and attacked his 6-year-old son Ansh.
The son was undergoing treatment at a private nursing home but died on Friday. Jeetu has then filed a case against Sanjay and Ramkumar alleging that his son died due to their negligence.
Maharajpur police station in-charge Raghavendra Singh informed that a case is being registered and investigation is being carried out. The people around are also being questioned regarding the incident.
