Ghaziabad, July 11 (TNA) Six persons were killed and two critically injured when a school bus driving on the wrong side rammed head on into a black TUV on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway on Tuesday morning. Of the deceased, two are males, two females and two kids.

Police had a tough time extracting their bodies from the ill-fated vehicle which had turned into a mangled heap of metal and glass with the impact of the collision.

The mishap happened on the expressway between the police station Vijay Nagar and Tigri. Fortunately, the school bus did not have kids in it when the accident took place.

The family in the TUV were residents of Meerut and were headed to Gurugram and from there to Khatu Shyam. The wreckless bus driver has been arrested.
