Six Killed In Road Accident In Ayodhya, CM Mourns Loss Of Lives

Ayodhya, March 23 (TNA) Six persons were killed in a road mishap in Ayodhya, police said on Tuesday. The tragedy happened in the wee hours on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway near Rudauli.

According to information available, a DCM passing by the roadside near Rauzagaon overbridge was hit side by side by a two roadways bus going from Kanpur towards Basti.

The driver of the roadways bus stopped the bus on the side. The driver of the second bus which was following him also stopped the bus and started inspecting the bus near the overbridge to see the collision with the DCM. Meanwhile, the passengers sitting inside the bus also came down.

Meanwhile, the trailer going from Lucknow towards Ayodhya spun out of control and hit the bus in the back strongly. Eight of the passengers who got down from the bus were seriously injured due to the heavy collision of the trailer.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled the loss of lives and has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the bereaved families of the deceased.
