SIT Continues Probe Into Death of Girl Student At Mainpuri’s Navodaya Vidyalaya

Mainpuri, Oct 1 (TNA) Investigations by the SIT into the death of a girl student in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bhogaon of Mainpuri reached the Bhogaon police station on Thursday where the team examined the files related to the incident as well as gathered other information from the police.

Simultaneously, the forensic team reached Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and thoroughly investigated the hostel and premises. In order to know the secret in the case of the death of the student, the SIT is also getting samples of people for DNA test.

Due to this, on Thursday, the Health Department team collected samples of 25 people for DNA test at Circuit House. The process of interrogation of people also continued. Two years ago on 16 September 2019, the body of a 16-year-old class 11 student was found hanging on a noose in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

After the rebuke of the High Court, SIT has been formed for fresh investigation. The new SIT had started probing the case two weeks ago.
