SIT Constituted To Probe The Death of Mahant Narendra Giri

Lucknow, Sep 21 (TNA) Amid growing chorus of a high-level probe into the mysterious death of Akhada Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri, the deputy inspector general (DIG) of Prayagraj has constituted a 18-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe all aspects in the high-profile case.

According to an official, the SIT would be chaired by Ajeet Singh Chauhan (CO-IV) and the members include Aastha Jaiswal, Mahesh Singh, Sujit Dubey, Virendra Kumar Sonkar, Sanjay Singh, Balwant Yadav, Mahaveer Singh, Manoj Singh, Abhay Kumar and Naveen Rai.

The DIG has also named Vinod Dubey, Avneesh, Shashi Prakash, Sandeep, Yogendra and woman constables Anita Yadav and Sneha Paurush in the team.
