Short-circuit Causes Fire In Coach Of Tundla-Kanpur EMU, None Hurt
Tundla, April 25 (TNA) Passengers on board the Tundla-Kanpur EMU had a providential escape as a coach caught fire in Tundla on Monday. The fire started due to a short-circuit. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the station superintendent from Tundla along with the team left for the spot.
Since the incident, the EMU is standing at the station itself and passengers are stranded in the scorching heat for almost an hour. According to the information, this incident is of Hirangaon station between Tundla- Firozabad at around 7:15 am.
Two fire tenders reached on the information. The railway team rectified the defect in the coach, after which the train started its onward journey at 8.15 pm.
