Shop Staffer Killed In Late Night Attempted Robbery At Agra

Agra, Sep 18 (TNA) A man was killed in an attempted robbery by criminals at a shop in Agra's Kalindi Vihar late on Friday night. The deceased was a staffer at the Radhika Plyboard and Aluminium shop situated at the Sau Futa Marg in Kalindi Vihar, as he tried to stop the robbers who had barged into the outlet.

According to information available, the trio entered the shop as customers but soon whipped out weapons and tried to rob the shop. The staffer resisted and there was a scuffle in which he dragged them out of the shop after which they shot at him. He died on the spot. Locals created a scene at the robbery and accused the police of reaching the crime scene late and that by then the criminals had fled on a bike.

SSP Muniraj G however contested the claim and said that the police reached within ten minutes of getting the information of the crime. The deceased has been identified as Sushil Chauhan (32), who hailed from Farrukhabad but lived locally in Dayalbagh. He was at the shop till late as some consignment was to arrive late.

Owner of the shop Veer Bahadur said he rushed the profusely bleeding staffer to a nearby medical facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival. SP City Vikas Kumar, CO Chatta, Deeksha Singh and others reached the crime scene and are now probing the whole matter. The criminals were wearing masks and it was not clear on which side they fled on their motorcycle.

Sadly Friday was the first day of the staffer Chauhan at the shop, a day when he met a brutal end at the hand of the robbers.
