Security Guard Killed During Robbery At Axis Bank ATM Cash Van, Criminals Decamp With Rs 22 Lakh Cash

Mirzapur, Sep 12 (TNA) In a daylight robbery, armed criminals stormed the Axis bank ATM, shot four people including a security guard and decamped with rs 22 lakh in cash on Tuesday, police said. The critically injured security man later died at a medical facility.

Bike riding miscreants looted the van carrying Axis Bank ATM cash near Beltar in Katra Kotwali area. The incident, which happened in broad daylight in a crowded area, has left the city in a tizzy.

Senior officials have reached the spot with forces from several police stations. Someone has clicked photos of the criminals from a nearby building. Both are wearing helmets and had pistols in their hands.
