School Wall Caves In, Three Labourers Buried In Ghaziabad’s Vijaynagar

Ghaziabad, March 23 (TNA) Three persons - all labourers, were killed in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday as a wall caved in, burying them alive, police said. Two others were injured and they are undergoing treatment at a medical facility. The mishap happened near DAV Chowk in Vijayanagar.

Vijay Nagar CO Swatantra Dev Singh told news persons that the incident happened near DAV Public School, Chowki Pratap Vihar where during digging up of a municipal corporation drainage system, the wall of a school collapsed, burying underneath five of the eleven laborers working there.

"Out of these, 3 laborers were found dead and 2 laborers have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Further action is being taken,” the police officer further informed.
