Samajwadi Party Expels Five Accused In Hatching A Conspiracy During PM Modi’s Kanpur Visit

Lucknow, December 29 (TNA) Left red-faced after the Kanpur police arrested a few of its workers for allegedly vandalising a car that belonged to them but had a BJP flag to show the people’s anger against the ruling party, the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Wednesday expelled five of the accused.

In a statement, Rajendra Chowdhary, spokesman of the SP, said that on instructions of the party president Akhilesh Yadav, five party workers - Sachin kesarwani, Ankur Patel, Ankesh Yadav, Sukant Sharma and Sushil Rajput, have been expelled from the party for their alleged involvement in the incident.

The incident was caught on CCTV when SP workers were spotted putting the BJP flag on the car and then smashing it, vandalising it and raising anti-PM and anti-BJP slogans. The police arrested the five and informed the media about the whole incident.
