Ruckus In Police Station Premises In Prayagraj After Scuffle Between Two Lawyer Groups

Prayagraj, December 24 (TNA) After a pitched battle between two groups of lawyers, additional police force has been deployed in Colonelganj area of the holy city on Friday. It was a free for all as the two sides rained blows on each other and got into a scuffle.

It all started earlier in a court with regards to petition of ​​a person. After this, one of the parties reached the police station and filed a case against advocate Vijay Dwivedi under various sections. When advocate Vijay Dwivedi came to know about this, he also reached the police station with about fifty lawyers.

When the other side came to know about this, they also reached the police station along with hundreds of lawyers and a dispute started between the two groups. The lawyers of both the sides started scuffle with each other inside the Colonelganj police station. Soon the entire police station premises became a battlefield. In view of the huge uproar, the force of many police stations came.

After much effort, the police brought the situation under control. The police registered a case against many people on the complaint of lawyer Sunil Pandey, while on behalf of the other side, advocate Vijay Dwivedi has also given a complaint to register an FIR. According to SP City Dinesh Kumar Singh, action will also be taken against those who create ruckus inside the police station after watching the CCTV footage.
