Rs 81 Lakh Recovered From A Black Suitcase At Prayagraj Rail Junction, Man Arrested

Prayagraj, May 8 (TNA) A team of GRP sleuths stumbled upon a black suitcase near the foot over bridge at the platform 4-5 on Prayagraj railway junction. They were on a routine check when they found the suitcase which had a whopping Rs 81.20 lakh stashed inside it.

Aa suspicious person has been arrested. He was unable to tell the policefrom where he had got this large sum of money, he was handed over to the Income Tax department. During interrogation, the youth revealed his name as Ankit Seth (25) who is a resident of Mumbai and is a trader of gold jewellery. He mostly travels from Mumbai to Prayagraj in connection with his business.

He had come here in this connection. At the same time, GRP Inspector Ram Mohan Rai informed that when he was doing routine checking with his team, then this person was caught in suspicious condition on platform number four.
