Retired Sub-Inspector, Wife Killed In Road Mishap In Mainpuri

Mainpuri, July 4 (TNA) A retired policeman and his wife were killed when the bike they were riding was hit by a speeding Scorpio car. Hakim Singh, a resident of Farrukhabad district, had retired from the post of sub-Inspector on June 30. He was posted at Nasirpur police station in Firozabad. After retiring, he was going home with his belongings but met with an accident on the way on Sunday evening in Bhogaon area of ​​Mainpuri.

The retired cop and his wife died on the spot. On information, the police reached the scene of the mishap and sent the bodies for post-mortem.His wife, 58-year-old wife Sunita Devi also died on the spot. Due to his simple nature and soft spoken, he was highly respected in the area, an official said.
