Retired Govt Officer Living Alone In Ghaziabad Home Found Dead In Bathroom

Ghaziabad, April 3 (TNA) Body of a retired government official was found at his Rajnagar sector 4 residence on Sunday, police said. He was found lying in the bathroom adjascent to his bed room and prima facie it appears that he suffered a cardiac arrest, an official informed. The body of Ved Prakash Gupta (80) has sicne been sent for autopsy.

He had retired from the Government of India and lived alone in his residence after the death of his wife last year. His one son Deepak lived in Noida while the other son Manish resides in Indirapuram locality of Ghaziabad. The death was discovered when the domestic help came in the morning but the doorbells were not answered.

She raised an alarm with the neighbours who rang up 112 and also informed the children. ACP of Kavinagar, Abhishek Srivastava said he was brought dead to the hospital and a post-mortem will infer the real reason of the death.
