Renal Awareness Rath Yatra Concludes In Lucknow

Lucknow, April 7 (TNA) The Renal Awareness Rath Yatra, by Human Assistance Foundation and Nano Homeopathy Institute of Research and Welfare, to create awareness and prevent Renal Diseases especially Renal Failure, came to an end after traveling through the length and breadth of Lucknow.

The Rath Yatra was inaugurated by Ayush Minister Dr Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu on March 21. During the course of Yatra through Lucknow, over 4000 patients were given free Consultation for various diseases. At least 2000 patients were checked free of cost for Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar.

Those who were at high risk or found out to have high BP or high sugar, were screened free of cost for Renal profile to rule out renal damage. These patients were advised higher Kidney Tests at 50% discount. Besides Dietary consultation, counseling to stay away from stress and tension, Yogic kriyas and meditation were advised. Those who needed Dialysis, were given options for low cost dialysis availability in Lucknow.

During its journey the Rath was flagged off by many dignitaries like Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, MoS Minority Affairs Danish Azad, Commissioner of Lucknow Roshan Jacob, ACS Tourism Mukesh Meshram and others. The awareness campaign was concluded by Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brijesh Pathak.

“A memo was submitted to him with our findings that the only solution to the growing epidemic of Renal Failure is either prevention or Homeopathy and that by prevention alone - regular check ups at least 70% of patients can be averted from progression of disease or going for Dialysis or Transplant” secretary of the organisation Dr Lubna Kamal informed.
