Ramayan Theme Park At Tulsi Upvan Kanpur Inches Closer To Completion, Commissioner Reviews Progress

Kanpur, December 1 (TNA) Divisional Commissioner of Kanpur Raj Shekhar on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the Tourism Department's project at Tulsi Upvan, where a “Ramayan Theme Park” is being constructed.

The ₹ 5.88 Crore project is being undertaken by construction agency is NPCC which is a Government of India Corporation. The project is around 90% complete and the finishing works are being carried out, Raj Shekhar informed.

He added that the light and sound show testing was underway and it will be finalised this month end. The Tourism department is planing to complete all the works in next 2 months including the Light and sound show & necessary steps will be taken up for its inauguration.

This project has a theme park hall with audio-visual equipment’s, light & sound show, LED lighting etc .

For the first one year the operations of the theme park and its maintenance will be done by the construction agency NPCC and then it will be handed over to either Tourism department or the Nagar Nigam for operations and maintenance, an official informed.
